I'll start off with a couple of full length videos that I enjoy for different reasons.
The first is a documentary about Mount Athos. It's a lovely watch but my favourite bits are the ones with Father Galaktion. I can identify with him to some degree. His bits start at 22.30 , 34.15 and 41.15 with other bits between. A nice overall watch though
The second is about the Carthusian monastery at St Chartreuse in France. It gives a quiet overview of life in the rather strict regime of the Carthusians. I have a lot of time for them and use their lives as an inspiration. I am afraid that, while I might fantasise about living such a reclusive life, mine is much more mixed in with daily life 'in the world'. This is a long, beautiful and occasionally funny, watch.
